Lauren Nelson

Ms. Nelson supports and manages a variety of solid waste projects, including landfill engineering, landfill gas management, and groundwater compliance. She completes landfill gas system designs and other environmental regulatory compliance projects for municipal and private clients.
Projects typically involve solid waste facility master planning, landfill cell design, leachate management and conveyance systems, landfill gas extraction systems, and various other engineering design components in addition to permitting, bidding, and construction services. Facilities include landfills, material recovery facilities, transfer stations, and support facilities (e.g., roadways, buildings, stormwater).
She also conducts groundwater data evaluation including geochemical analysis to determine source of impact, alternative source demonstrations, and hydrogeological assessments for the development of hydrologic monitoring system plans, assessments of Corrective Measures, and Corrective Action Monitoring Plans utilizing groundwater remedial systems. Additional experience includes ending post-closure care activities for landfills located in the Midwest.
