Mr. McConnell has three decades years of experience with the installation, operation and maintenance of reciprocating engines, generators and switchgear. With SCS Energy, he has had responsibility for operation/maintenance of thirteen landfill gas fired power plants Boise, Idaho (two Caterpillar 3520s); Salt Lake City, Utah (one Jenbacher 320); Medford, Oregon (two Caterpillar 3520s); Kalispell, Montana (one Caterpillar 3520); and Dallas, Texas (one Caterpillar 3520); Atlanta, GA (two Caterpillar 3520s); UNH, New Hampshire (two Caterpillar 3520s) Maryland (one Caterpillar 3520 & two Jenbacher 320s) CDA, Idaho (two Caterpillar 3520s) ; Dunn, North Carolina (Six Caterpillar 3520s); Spartanburg, NC (one Caterpillar 3520); Bradenton FL (one Caterpillar G3520) And provides Maintenance & technical support for five, SCS built turnkey sites totaling (12 Caterpillar 3520s)
Mr. McConnell is SCS Energy’s Operation Manager and National Maintenance Coordinator. SCS Energy’s operating Caterpillar fleet currently includes five projects with eight engines, and three High BTU plants.
Mr. McConnell served as Construction Manager for the 1.6 MW Flathead LFGE project in Kalispell, Montana, and was responsible for plant startup and testing. And Construction Manager in CDA Idaho on a new 3.2 MW facility
Prior to joining SCS in February 2007, Mr. McConnell was employed for 17 years by Western States Equipment, a Caterpillar distributor, and for seven years as a diesel engine mechanic for Smith Detroit Diesel.
