Mr. Vonkarey is SCS’s Director of Sustainability. He focuses on energy efficiency, sustainability, and public policy, with an emphasis on ESG. His experience includes leading the sustainability initiative in a prior company, as well as organizing and deploying sustainable society, emerging technology and innovation, environment and nature, and partner for a better world process. He has also led decarbonization strategy development efforts, including net-zero goals and science based targets (SBTi). In addition, Mr. Vonkarey has led partnerships developing sustainable energy and resource management strategies, and he has developed energy and greenhouse gas (GHG)/carbon emissions inventories, water footprints, waste footprints, and carbon footprints. Mr. Vonkarey has a Master’s degree in civil engineering and project management, and a certificate from Harvard Business School in Sustainable Business Strategy.
