With 25 years of experience as a Professional Engineer and Geologist, Richard specializes in managing large-scale environmental and solid waste projects, including municipal solid waste (MSW) and coal combustion residual (CCR) facilities. As a National Expert in Utilities, across site development and permitting, infrastructure design, and regulatory compliance, he leads multidisciplinary teams to deliver engineering solutions.
His expertise includes landfill and impoundment design, geotechnical evaluations, leachate and landfill gas management, and stormwater control and modeling. He has successfully directed projects involving landfill expansions, cell and final cover construction design and construction, closure designs, and environmental remediation. He is certified to perform advanced geotechnical evaluations as part of SCS’s internal certification process.
